Seven billion people inhabit the earth in 195 countries. Yet only a few voices are heard among the many. Only a few topics are shared. Only a few opinions are heard. We aim to change that.
We tackle tough topics abroad and in America. We question the media. We question society. We question what we think.
The radio show started in 2013. It began with three friends, Palesa Shirley Moihloe, Cheryl Nyasha and Bamzi Banchiri who were constantly speaking about issues on Principia Campus, in the United States and in the world. When Bamzi took a radio class one semester, the women's conversation moved from the dining room table to the studio. According to Cheryl Nyasha, one of the founding hosts of the radio show, the mission was to create a forum for "more open and honest dialogue regarding social issues in our surrounding community."
The show enters its second year. It is no longer a class assignment. It has become something more. It is a forum to tackle tough topics.
So join Bamzi Banchiri, Jocelyne Jam, Gemma Ritchie, and Shirley Moihloe as we try and set the world aright.
Four women tackling tough topics about race, gender, nationality, and international news every Sunday at 3pm Central Time.
